Contacts and Membership


The SWLA welcomes applications for membership from Consultants, Honorary Consultants, SAS doctors, Specialist registrars in Otolaryngology as well as General Practitioners with a special interest in ENT.

We aim to recognise outstanding achievements in the region, nurture our local talent and encourage those still in training. Traditionally, the SWLA has held twice yearly academic and social meetings. The meetings are structured around training days and in combination with other medical societies such as the Regional Training Committee, the Anglo-French exchange and the ORS. The recently elected executive committee wishes to develop future activities to reflect the changing face of our specialty both regionally and throughout the UK.

Annual Membership Fee:

Honorary Consultants: No fee 

Consultants (Full Members): £50 per year

SAS Doctors, SpRs & GPSIs (Associate Members): £25 per year

(Fees include cost of registration for Winter and Spring Meetings)
